Raised in a family of makers and creative types, Chelsea was profoundly influenced by her grandfather, a carpenter who built their childhood home and designed highly detailed furniture. His creativity, talent, and attention to detail left a lasting impact on her. At a young age, Chelsea didn’t know what interior design was, but she knew she loved repainting her bedroom walls, rearranging furniture, and playing in her life-size dollhouse built by her grandfather, reflecting her early passion for design.

Her mother’s natural skill and ingenuity in tackling various creative projects, from tiling bathrooms to painting cabinets, further inspired Chelsea. These family influences and experiences led her to pursue a career in the creative field, earning a degree in interior design at Texas Christian University. It was during her internships that she solidified her passion for residential design.

Chelsea worked in the industry for several years, gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Eventually, she seized the perfect opportunity to start Fount House, inspired by her father’s entrepreneurial spirit. Chelsea is deeply grateful for her family’s teachings and ongoing encouragement, which have been instrumental in her journey.

Chelsea’s approach is deeply client-centric, focusing on understanding each client’s unique vision and needs. She offers a range of services, including in store and in home consultations, a “Designer By Your Side” service, and full-scale design packages. Her ability to blend contemporary trends with timeless styles ensures that every project reflects the personality and lifestyle of her clients.
